100 interviews challenge? Thoughts of the Writer
I placed the question and people are interested in me taking my own 100 interview challenge or writing auto biographically. This of course raises the question of who to interview me?
I. About me, maybe, Auto Bio?
Okay, so who am I? I’ll never tell! gossip artist. No I will tell a bit but I won’t reveal enough for an interview not to be interesting.
I have had life long interests in art, even working an art TA in college even though I was a boring standard major kid. I won a photo contest once and was displayed in a gallery when in High School age in some rich town. Asa TA I worked in the sculpture department and I took many art classes including taking and working in metal casting which was fun times.
I struggled at drawing at that time. I went on to finish at different college and took the boring standard classes of my major. Then I worked, and eventually by mid twenties I made another effort at drawing, something I would try since 10 but never sustained. Now I kept at it, and eventually got better, and went to a life drawing class, all of this accomplished one silly life goal: to draw a nude woman. Eventually, I began to draw everyone, and now I draw everyone.
Drawing become a cool stress relief, and a way to connect with many cool people I would not know otherwise.
Also in my mid twenties came more school, and then a professional high stress career and student debt. I still draw but not as much as I want to.
Now I have always, been and wanted to be a writer. I have bad unpublished fiction and ideas going back to being 10 or so. I have always dreamed of being a novelist, or movie writer, and as a kid I loved the old tv show Magnum PI, as the unseen character Robin Masters, was a brilliantly successful novelist. So that remains a dream, although I don’t write enough.
I also wouldn’t mind being a radio or talk show host. So maybe someday.
I like figure art and biography because they are about people. People are cool, and the most interesting thing!
